We are proud to present for sale this absolutely breathtaking Rolex Oyster Perpetual from 1961 featuring a beautiful gold sunburst dial. This watch is in absolutely lovely condition for its age and is working perfectly in all its functions, keeping excellent time. 

Dial - The dial has some minute imperfections visible under loupe.

Case - This piece features a stainless steel case with a solid 18ct gold bezel & crown which are in fantastic condition and shows only light signs of use. The stainless steel case is showing very light wear on edges and lugs, which do not detract from the overall good looks of the watch.

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 1570 automatic movement which is flawless in every way. The watch has been serviced recently by Rolex and is keeping fantastic time for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows some signs of wear from use over its decades of life. 

Bracelet - We have put this watch on a new high quality leather strap which looks and feels amazing the wrist.

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolexes of this era. The crystal is in fantastic condition showing little signs of wear whatsoever.
