Condition

We are proud to present for sale this beautiful Rolex Oyster Perpetual no date from 1970. This watch sports an attractive fluted bezel with a silver brushed dial and silver baton markers with black inserts. For a watch that is over 50 years old it remains in excellent condition and is working perfectly in all operations having just been serviced by our watchmaker.

Dial - The dial has some minor marks which are not visible to the naked eye. More specifically there are minor marks to the outer edge of the dial between 1 and 2 with some minor scratches on the dial. A loupe is needed to spot these.

Case - This piece features a stainless steel case which is in good condition and shows minor scratches and dings that you would expect from a watch of this age.

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 1560 automatic movement which is in excellent condition. The watch is keeping fantastic time for a watch of this age and has just been fully serviced by our watchmaker. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows some signs of wear from use over its decades of life. 

Bracelet - The original Oyster bracelet is in very good condition.

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolexes of this era. The crystal is in great condition showing some extremely light marks which are not visible to the naked eye.
