We are proud to present this stunning Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 1550 Automatic from 1970, a truly breathtaking gold-plated example featuring a beautiful gold sunburst dial that captures the light perfectly. Classic and refined in its proportions, this vintage Rolex embodies timeless elegance while offering the reliability of its automatic movement. Presented in absolutely lovely condition for its age, the watch is working perfectly in all functions and keeping excellent time. A superb opportunity to own a striking and well-preserved piece of Rolex heritage.

Dial - The dial is in brilliant condition, mark free, showing only little age on markers under magnification.

Case - This piece features a gold plated stainless steel case which remains in fantastic condition for its age, showing only mild signs of common wear with all markings still clearly visible. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 1570 automatic movement which is excellent both cosmetically and mechanically, keeping fantastic time for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows light signs of wear from use over its decades of life. 

Strap - This watch comes on a suiting new strap with Rolex style buckle. 

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal with a Cyclops lens which was standard for Rolexes of this era. The crystal is in near-mint condition showing no visible signs of wear.
