Condition

This classy and timeless Rolex Oyster Precision from the 1960s is presented in fantastic vintage condition, featuring a stylish design of a beautiful and original silver colour, sunburst dial which displays original and crisp applied text and baton markers. The watch is in spectacular condition for its age and is running perfectly with the movement being in excellent mechanical order. 

Dial - Excellent, showing lovely light patina which only adds to the vintage charm and historic value of the watch.

Case - The case is in great condition and shows some signs of use. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex signed screw down and is in excellent condition as well as works perfectly in all its functions. 

Movement - This piece encases its original 1225 Rolex manual wind movement which again is in perfect working condition. Although not serviced by us, after testing we can see that from the movement’s health and timekeeping ability it is evident that the watch has been serviced recently. To wind the watch the crown is unscrewed and pulled out ever so slightly and rotated clockwise. Please don’t force the winding of the watch. It becomes evident when the watch is fully would as you will feel resistant. Do not try to wind past this point. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows some signs of wear from use over its decades of life. 

Bracelet - We have put this watch on a high quality leather strap which suits this beautiful piece perfectly!
