Condition

Presented in lovely vintage condition is this fabulous and timeless Rolex Oysterdate Precision from the 1960s. This piece features a stylish black dial which displays original applied text, hands and baton indexes in silver colours and a fully functional date complication in a contrasting gold colour frame, which is viewed through the Rolex Cyclops magnifying glass. The watch with stainless steel case is in very nice vintage condition and is running perfectly with the movement being in exceptional mechanical order.

Dial - The black dial is in beautiful vintage condition and shows some signs of age and wear including a couple of scratches. 

Case - The case is in fantastic condition and shows light signs of use. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex signed screw down and is in excellent condition, working perfectly in all its functions. 

Movement - This piece encases its original Rolex manual wind movement which again is in perfect working condition. Although not serviced by us, after testing we can see that from the movement’s health and timekeeping ability it is evident that the watch has been serviced recently. To wind the watch the crown is unscrewed and pulled out ever so slightly and rotated clockwise. Please don’t force the winding of the watch. It becomes evident when the watch is fully would as you will feel resistant. Do not try to wind past this point. To change the time and date the crown will need to be pulled out to its furthest position and rotated forward. 

Case back - The original case back with all of its Rolex markings on the inner side is in excellent condition showing light wear and age.

Strap - The watch comes on a new leather strap which has a luxurious look and feel on the wrist and suits the watch perfectly.

Crystal - The watch features its original acrylic crystal which features a domed cyclops lens to view the date. Its 2.5x magnification allows the date to be viewed with ease and clarity. The crystal itself is in great condition showing just light scratches on closer inspection.
