Presented for sale is a stunning vintage Rolex Orchid cocktail watch dating back to the early 1970s. This beautiful piece features the rare gold sunburst Sigma dial indicating that the dial's hand-applied hour markers and logo are made of solid 18ct gold. This special dial is housed in an also solid 18ct gold cushion-shaped case paired with a slender aftermarket leather strap with the watch's original, gold plated Rolex buckle. This watch is exceptionally well preserved and remains in stunning condition. Mechanically, the watch is running beautifully and keeping excellent time within vintage specification.

Dial - The dial with solid gold markers and logo remain in an exceptional condition for its age, showing only very light and graceful signs of age under a loupe.

Case - The solid 18ct case is in fantastic shape for a watch of this age and shows just light signs of wear. 

Crown - The original Rolex signed crown works perfectly in all of its functions and remains in excellent vintage condition as the rest of the watch. 

Movement - The watch encases its original Rolex manual wind movement Calibre 1400, which is working very well and keeping excellent time. 

Case back - The solid 18ct gold original case back shows only light signs of wear.

Strap - This piece has an aftermarket leather strap with its original Rolex signed gold-plated buckle. The leather strap shows a little wear but remains in excellent condition.

Crystal - The crystal is in near-mint condition.
