Condition

We are delighted to present to you for sale this rare and magnificent Rolex Precision from the 1960s in superb condition. This fabulous watch features a beautiful light gold colour sunburst dial encased in a stylish and unusually ornate 9ct gold case and case back. The watch is in spectacular condition and is running perfectly with the movement being in exceptional mechanical order. 

Dial - Excellent vintage, showing only mild patination and signs of wear not visible to the naked eye.

Case - The case is in fantastic condition and shows only extremely light signs of use. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex signed screw down and is in excellent condition as well as works perfectly in all its functions. 

Movement - This piece encases its original 1225 Rolex manual wind movement which again is in perfect working condition. Although not serviced by us, after testing we can see that from the movement’s health and timekeeping ability it is evident that the watch has been serviced recently. To wind the watch the crown is unscrewed and pulled out ever so slightly and rotated clockwise. Please don’t force the winding of the watch. It becomes evident when the watch is fully would as you will feel resistance. Do not try to wind past this point. 

Case back - The case back is original and in fantastic condition, only showing extremely light signs of use.

Bracelet - This watch comes with Rolex brown leather strap and original Rolex buckle which is in brilliant condition and suits this beautiful piece perfectly!

Crystal - Excellent condition, only showing minor imperfections under a loupe.
