Condition

This is a super interesting and rare Seiko Automatic from 1971 with an incredible distinctive design, featuring a cushion-shaped case that earned it the “UFO” nickname among collectors. The superb case is further enhanced by two-tone silver and blue dial that displays multiple intricate layers, starting with a striking blue colour galaxy dial in the middle, encircled by a concentric band displaying Roman numerals which is framed by sparkly silver-tone minute and outer rings. The overall condition is absolutely fantastic for a watch of this age. The dial is in mint condition, showing only light age on hands. The case displays its original brushwork stunningly, showing only extremely light wear and the original bracelet is also in excellent condition with light signs of use. The crystal is showing only a handful of fine, little scratches which are only visible under a loupe. This watch has clearly been hardly worn in all these years and remains in full working order, keeping excellent time.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
