We present for sale this unique UFO style Chronograph from Tissot in the 1970s which is a design classic and still sits on its original Gay Freres bracelet. UFO style watches were a typical go to choice for the 1970s being chunky and very distinctive. The choice of colours for this dial are particularly impressive with a cream dial and black subdials complemented perfectly with the red hands used for the chronograph, 30 minute and hour dials. Even the wedge shaped hour markers look great on the watch. The movement is made by Lemania which was known for quality chronograph movements. The sub dials are all doing as they should with a seconds dial, 30 minute dial and an hour dial. The chronograph element starts and stops as it should and the re-set button is working correctly.  If you are seeking something distinctive and different this watch will certainly start a conversation! The watch is in fantastic original condition and is working perfectly in all functions.

Due to the age of the watch we cannot guarantee its timekeeping for any amount of time after purchase. However, all of our pieces are checked with a timegrapher to ensure that they are running anywhere within +/- 60 seconds per day.

Please note that we categorise watches as keeping good time when they’re running within +/- 60 seconds per day. 

We cannot guarantee any water resistance due to the age of these watches.

Please note that when you first receive the watch. Automatic watches may need to be shaken for a couple of minutes to get them running well. This also applies when the watch hasn’t been worn for while.  

Returns

Customers may return their purchased item within 14 days of delivery date as long as the item(s) are returned in the same condition as received.  

International buyers are responsible for customs charges that apply when returning an item.
