Condition

We present to you this super example of a vintage Tudor Oysterdate manual wind from 1965/66. This model features a stunning silver sunburst dial with gold coloured baton hours markers and a date complication. The watch has a Rolex crown and caseback which are fully original to the watch. The watch is keeping excellent time and is running perfectly. 

Dial - The spectacular silver sunburst dial is in superb condition with no marks visible to the naked eye. You need a loupe to see a few minute marks which are present.

Case - The gold plated case front is in great condition for its age showing minor signs of use as you would expect of a watch of this age such as tiny scratches. Overall, the watch presents very well indeed.

Crown - The Rolex signed wind down crown is fully original and works perfectly in all of its functions. To wind the watch you will need turn the crown anti-clockwise until it pops out to its winding position where you can then wind it in a clockwise drirection. To change the time, pull out the crown to its last setting. You can then return the crown to its original position by applying some light pressure and turn the crown clockwise until it has screwed back against the case.

Movement - This piece is powered by its original Tudor movement which is working perfectly.

Case Back - The original Rolex case back is in good condition showing some signs of wear. 

Strap - This piece has been put on a brand new replacement strap. 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in great condition and shows minimal wear. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
