Condition

A superb and increasingly rare post-war ladies’ Tudor/Rolex manual-wind wristwatch from 1955, presented in its original solid 9ct gold “B&S Made for Rolex” case and paired with an intricately designed gold-rolled bracelet.

This exceptional piece is offered in stunning, well-preserved vintage condition throughout. Its original silver sunburst dial displays an attractive natural patina, beautifully complemented by gilt indices that catch and reflect the light.

The watch is accompanied by its original presentation box, featuring both the Tudor Rose emblem and Rolex markings. A rare survivor in its own right, the box is worn and retains its original character, though its watch brace insert is no longer present.

The watch has been fully serviced. Its original movement is running strongly and keeping time well within expected vintage tolerances for a manual-wind timepiece.

A truly elegant and collectible example of classic Tudor/Rolex craftsmanship.

Dial – The original dial is in stunning vintage condition, proudly displaying natural signs of age including a charming light patina.

Case – The original 9ct gold case is in fantastic condition for its age, showing only light signs of vintage wear.

Crown – The period crown is in excellent working order and excellent vintage cosmetic condition.

Movement – This piece is powered by its original Tudor manual wind Cal 2424 movement, which is running strongly and keeping excellent time within expected vintage specifications. The watch has been fully serviced.

Case Back – The original "B&S made for Rolex"-signed 9ct gold case back is in excellent vintage condition, showing only light signs of wear.

Crystal – The original acrylic crystal is in excellent condition, with only minor wear visible under magnification.

Bracelet – The gold-rolled bracelet with adjustable expanding clasp mechanism is in excellent, well-preserved condition. It complements the watch beautifully while remaining practical and comfortable to wear.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear. A particularly special example, made even more desirable by the presence of its original presentation box.
