Description

This fabulous ladies Universal Geneve is a is a highly elegant, vintage Art Deco-inspired mechanical dress watch from 1978. The watch features a distinct, cushion-shaped, gold-filled case with prominent and styled integrated lugs that extend straight from the crystal, giving it an architectural, Art Deco geometry. The black dial is enhanced by minimalistic quarterly hour markers and fine stick hands. The watch is running excellently and keeping accurate time, offering both vintage charm and impressive performance.

Condition

Dial - Fantastic condition, showing little age only visible under a loupe.

Case - Brilliant condition - the gold filled decorative case shows only very light signs of wear.

Crown - The crown is original and Universal stamped. It works perfectly in all of its functions and remains in excellent condition. 

Movement - The watch encases its original Universal manual wind movement, which is working perfectly and keeping excellent time within vintage specifications. 

Case back - The original stainless steel case back is in excellent condition, showing light common signs of wear.

Strap - The watch is presented on a new leather strap and is re-fitted with its original Universal signed gold plated buckle.

Crystal - The original crystal shows light wear and age under a loupe.
