Condition

This is an extremely unusual and stunning vintage Vulcain Galo from c.1972. The interesting and elegant watch features a gold plated case with gold-brown darkened brushed dial which gives this watch an awsome effect in the light as well as the fabulous 60s look. It comes with an original 60s style strap and an original crown signed by its sister company Revue. The watch is in fantastic condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It has just been fully serviced and it is running perfectly, keeping perfect time within specification.

Dial - This piece features a beautiful darkened gold-brown brushed dial which is in mint condition.

Case - The fabulous gold plated case is in great condition and shows some light signs of wear. 

Crown - This particular piece has its original Revue (its sister comapny) signed crown which works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This watch encases its original Swiss made manual wind movement which is working flawlessly. This watch has just been fully serviced.

Case back - The case back shows only very light signs of general wear. 

Strap - This piece still has its amazing original strap which is in very good condition. There is some ageing rust showing on the buckle which has leaked into the leather strap around the buckle area. Please see the pictures.
