Condition

This is a beautiful vintage Zenith Surf from the 1970s which features a brushed silver dial with silver markers and a fully functional English day-date complication. This piece is overall in stunning condition showing minimal signs of use. Mechanically, the watch has recently been serviced and is working extremely well keeping near perfect time.

Dial - The dial is in excellent condition showing just a handful of vert tiny speckles which are hard to spot even under close inspection.

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in good condition for its age and is showing small signs of wear and is showing just a couple of tiny marks.

Case - The case is in spectacular condition showing just a few light scratches throughout.

Back case - The back case is original with all original markings. It is in good condition however, the markings on the outside of it are difficult to see in some lighting.

Movement - This watch features it’s original high beat rate movement which gives the seconds hand a very smooth sweeping motion. The movement is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. As mentioned before this piece is keeping near perfect time and has had a recent service. The day and date flick over smoothly as well! 

Strap - The strap is nearly brand new but unfortunately isn’t original to the watch. Nevertheless, it is of great quality and feels luxurious. 

At just £494.95 this watch proves to be a great entry point into the world of luxury watches, and an even better entry point into Zenith watches considering new models are priced upwards of £5,000!

Please note that we categorise watches as keeping good time when they’re running within +/- 60 seconds per day.

We cannot guarantee any water resistance due to the age of these watches.

Please note that when you first receive the watch. Automatic watches may need to be shaken for a couple of minutes to get them running well. This also applies when the watch hasn’t been worn for while.

Returns

Customers may return their purchased item within 14 days of delivery date as long as the item(s) are returned in the same condition as received.
